Welcome To
Welcome to the sought-after community of Little Rocky Run in western Fairfax County located in both Clifton and Centreville, Virginia. This planned community was built in the 1980s preserving 215 acres of wooded area allowing most of the homes to be in close proximity to parkland and wooded settings. Both the townhome and single-family homes range in size and price. Currently (Fall 2022) the community sells from the upper $400s to over $1.0 million. All residents have access to the common amenities including three pools, tennis courts, playgrounds, and paved walking trails.

Little Rocky Run is a planned community and, according to public records, consists of 2,365 homes consisting of 1,627 single family homes and 738 townhomes. The community is sited on 950 acres, and the original land planners kept 215 acres as open space for woodlands and trails. I believe this to be one of the reasons the community continues to prosper after so many new developments in Loudoun County have been built: nature abounds and often on walks with the dog we see rabbits, fox, deer, the occasional snake and frogs. The community amenities include three recreation centers, three swimming pools, tot lots and tennis courts, and three basketball/multipurpose courts as well as numerous picnic and play areas and miles of paved paths connected to public sidewalks for walking, jogging, and bicycling.

The local public schools are: Union Mill Elementary School (located in the community), Liberty Middle School and Centreville High School.
The HOA has active community members and subcommittees. The Activity committee organizes many events throughout the year to include a Visit with Santa and Craft Fair party, a Spring Egg Hunt, a Halloween parade and party, and a community yard sale.
Residents are able to commute to and from home with easy access to Interstate 66, Lee Highway, Route 28, and Braddock Road. A VRE station for those who commute by train is located four miles to the south and there is an “HOV Only” access ramp to Interstate 66 off Stringfellow Road just minutes from Little Rocky Run. Dulles International Airport is located 15 miles to the north.
Little Rocky Run is a special neighborhood with all of the hustle and bustle of Northern Virginia. Friendships are made here, community is found, laughter is heard and it's nice to come home at the end of the day.
